Malpractice and maladministration, two words you hope to never hear but ones you need to be prepared for when you do.

They immediately conjure up thoughts of fake certificates, cheating in tests and financial irregularities but can come in many forms and knowing what to look out for and how to deal with each instance when you suspect it is important.

As part of our ongoing support to qualification delivery organisations we are launching our first industry wide thematic review researching the subject of how prepared organisations are to deal with instances of malpractice and maladministration.

We are interested in hearing your views on your readiness level, the people who have responsibility for managing your policies and procedures in relation to malpractice and maladministration and the support your organisation provides to staff so they know how to spot and deal with suspected instances as they arise.

The survey is not looking to highlight potential instances of malpractice and maladministration, it is simply looking to find out how organisations delivering qualifications aim to deal with situations as they arise.

The results of the survey will be used to produce best practice guides to make sure everyone has the necessary knowledge, skills and systems in place.

The survey should take no longer than 5 – 10 minutes to complete and you do not need to provide your contact details if you would prefer not to.

It is open to all who deliver qualifications whether approved by SFEDI Awards or not and will remain open for submissions until 31 December 2017.
