Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise Training
Introduction
The SFEDI Awards suite of Practitioner Qualifications are designed to enable a flexible approach to assessment of professionals performing their role. They are built on the national occupational standards (NOS) and give an excellent benchmark for accreditation of performance whilst also giving the ideal framework for CPD of the practitioner.
The SFEDI Awards Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise Training is designed to enable trainers to deliver appropriate training to small business owners and managers.

| Assessment – mandatory units | The focus of assessment should be practical and work focused. It focuses on the collation of evidence into a portfolio. In addition, there is one presentation to the assessor about the business benefits of skills development. | |
| Entry requirements | There are no formal entry requirements for these qualifications. However, in order to benefit from undertaking them, candidates should possess communication skills sufficient to allow them to perform as business support professionals and to address the assessment requirements of the qualifications. | |

Study Support
All learners gain free studying membership of the Faculty of Enterprise in the IOEE (Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs) for one year. This provides access to a wide range of online support including a community of mentors, groups, forums, meetups and other tailored resources to help participants complete their programme successfully.
Progression
Successful learners may progress to other business support programmes for example the Diploma in Enterprise Support.
Upon successful completion of this Award learners will also be eligible to join the Faculty of Enterprise Support of the IOEE (Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs) as an Affiliate Member and use the post nominal letters AMIoEE.
