Welcome to the latest e-newsletter from SFEDI Awards sharing the latest updates within the enterprise skills agenda. Within this week’s update you will find information relating to SFEDI at the IAB 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner, the Skills CfA Apprenticeship consultation, the new SFEDI Awards fees and prices and a reminder about our training qualifications.

SFEDI Recognised at the IAB 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner Awards
SFEDI, the UK recognised not-for-profit standards setting body for both Business Enterprise and Business Support, were delighted last week to be present at the IAB Gala Dinner celebrating their 40th Anniversary and Awards ceremony.
Not only were we delighted to support the IAB, we also had the pleasure of presenting the IAB Small Business Mentor of the Year Award and also being the recipients of the Championing the Needs of Start Up Business Award.
Nathan Hardwick, Executive Director SFEDI Group, had this to say ,”We are delighted that we could support IAB in the wonderful celebration of their 40th Anniversary and also delighted that we were awarded the Championing the Needs of Start Up Business Award. We would like to wish the IAB all the best for their future and hope to continue to further grow the strong partnership between our two organisations”.

Apprenticeship Consultation Starts
As you will be aware the Richards Review has now been published into the recommendations of how Apprenticeships should be run in the future in order to increase both availability and quality. As a result Skills CfA has launched a consultation regarding proposed changes to Higher Level Apprenticeships and are looking for all interested people to input into this.

SFEDI Awards Releases 2013/14 Fees and Prices
SFEDI Awards has released today the new fees and prices for our products and services. In a bid to continue to support our centre network and your customers we have worked hard to keep costs low so that we can provide high quality and affordable solutions for enterprise and enterprise support skills development.
The new fees and prices document can be found here (http://sfediawards.com/centre-information/centre-documentation/) and will come into effect 1st August 2013 until 31st July 2014.

Reminder: SFEDI Awards Training Qualifications
As a result of questions from our centre network we would like to remind everyone that you can access your training qualification needs from SFEDI Awards.
As a centre you can apply to offer the following qualifications:
Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
